The procession will proceed by the already established route: from the fountain on Jelachich trg (square) by way of whole Korzo to the fountain on
Jadranski trg (in front of Erste Bank); and going back to Radio Rijeka on Korzo – to the location where we will have program on stage.
Ratha-yatra festival – procession will start at 5 p.m., program on stage is planned from 7 p.m. to 9,30 p.m.
Everybody is heartily invited to come and enjoy the rain of mercy that will shower that afternoon and evening on the whole city, and especially on all of you who will take part.

How is it possible that Krishna , after saying to Arjuna (Bg. 9.1), "I shall impart to you this most confidential knowledge and realization" then says (Bg. 14.1): "Again I shall declare to you this supreme wisdom, the best of all knowledge, knowing which all the sages have attained the supreme perfection"? Is more knowledge than that given in the "bhakti section" (Chapters 7-12) required, or is a repetition of the knowledge required?
After discussing the processes of yoga in Chapters 1-6 and after presenting the goal of all yoga processes - bhakti - in chapters 7-12, Krishna reveals how this goal can be achieved. After a section about karma (action) and a section about bhakti (devotion), we come to a section about jnana (knowledge). Please prepare yourself for receiving knowledge, which will help you go home, back to Godhead.

A Russian court has dismissed an appeal to ban an edition of the Hindu holy book Bhagvad Gita, in a case that triggered protests in India.
In December, a court in the Siberian city of Tomsk had rejected a plea by prosecutors to rule the edition "extremist". That would put it in the same category as Hitler's Mein Kampf.
Prosecutors had filed an appeal in the higher court against the decision.
The edition - Bhagvad Gita As It Is - is used by the Hare Krishna movement.
"The court in the Siberian city of Tomsk has dismissed the plea," Sadhu Priya Das of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) told the Press Trust of India news agency.
The higher court in Tomsk "kept the verdict of the lower court intact," Mr Das said.
The Russian foreign ministry had said it was the commentary on the text, not the text itself, that was under scrutiny.

On February 27, 2012, the Hungarian Parliament voted on the amendment to the new religious law, adding 18 religious organizations to the list of fully recognized churches in Hungary. Among others, the new list includes well-established Christian groups (such as the Methodists, Anglicans, Adventists, Mormons), the Jehovah Witnesses, representatives of other Eastern world religions (2 Muslim groups, 5 Buddhist communities and the Hungarian Society for Krishna Consciousness).
As ISKCON News reported earlier, in July 2011, the Hungarian Parliament introduced a new religious law, which – except for 14 religious organizations – stripped over 300 religious groups of their previously acquired status, requiring them to re-register under stringent new conditions. The automatically-accepted 14 only included major Christian and Jewish groups but none of the smaller Protestant churches or representatives of Eastern world religions.

Vrajamandala Farm Spain (near Madrid) on the 7th, 8th and 9th of May 2012.
New Vrajamandala is the largest farm project in Europe with 300 hectares of
land. The farm is set in a hilly region with beautiful scenery, mountains,
forests, two rivers and a developing rural community. In 2011 the European
Ministry of education established a college with a number of students taking
courses on theology and varnasrama subjects.
I am very happy to announce the 2012 Communications Seminar in Radhadesh from the 22nd of April till the 25th of April. It will be a great opportunity for devotees doing communications to associate with each other, learn skills and get inspired by sharing experiences and information. The topics to be discussed will be announced end of January but I can tell now that they will be very relevant and interesting to most of you. There will be well known guest speakers and senior devotees as well. Anuttama prabhu Global Communicatiosn Minister will be present and we hope that this year can be a breakthrough in developing the Communications Services through out Europe.

Worldwide, friends of Krishna are studying Vedic writings, and although most are eager to study systematically, they're not always able to spend a few months to relocate and take the courses in a classroom setting.
Since I joined the Hare Krishna Movement, in 1973, I had cultivated the desire to offer a few songs in praise of my Spiritual Master A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder Acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.
Actually one of the songs had been written right at the time of my joining the Movement, but for nearly four decades I practically did not have the time or the concentration to practice or do anything in relation to music.
A short while ago, realizing that my body is nearly 60 years old, and that my senses will soon become too weak to do anything, I resolved to try to put something down, and here is the result.
For the recording I just used GarageBand and very simple instruments, and I sung and played two or three times at the most for each song.
The devotees of the Lord are very merciful, though, and they can extract the nectar of rememberance of Srila Prabhupada’s Lotus Feet even from an however mediocre performance like mine. Thank you.
